LOL yeah I've never been able to display that Haybusa vacuum part effectively. It always takes too much space when attached. BUT I did finally find a use for a Charactics gift box that came with the mini Matangos: makeshift riser for Ikarus so now everyone is elevated!

lixx, I don't know why they are doing that... but on the bright side if you click the blank picture, it goes the flickr image and that works. also I'm (along with many other people on the board) are happy to see your pics again! especially to oogle at your vintage heroes shelves!

Discovering Buta's style with my first pieces and I must say those are really neat.
They stand out as really original and distinctive.

They are cute without being too cute, which would annoy me after some time.

I updated all my pics in this thread and thought hmmm maybe a new group shot would be cool.These shots didn't come out as cool as I wanted them to though. Too much in the background. I originally just wanted the big Spaceman to have his head over the rest of the toys (like he was eyeing them up for lunch) and nothing else but I only have a point and shoot which tends to 'fisheye' the composition all the time. Shame because my girlfriend has a big lightbox made but we don't have a light source to go over it so can't use it.




Good excuse to dust though.

That is a really a spectacular grouping of Buta toys, and I am happy to see so many in your family. These toys really do seem to belong together, don't they?

I think I have a net gain of +14 or 15 since then, so what 3.5 per year since? Availability to purchase upon release, and too many people collecting Butanohana- driving up prices and making it scare. Stop collecting Butanohana- these are not the droids you are looking for lol. Just kidding. It really comes down to I collect so much more than Butanohana so funds aren't always there and I ain't paying flipper prices.

^ Yeah... I still refuse to go the flipper route, but all of my other plastic interests have suffered from my fixation on these pretties anyway.

Query answered. Verdict: (in these eyes) more green than blue. Prognosis: Will be pursuing this Garamon pretty hard.

Love the green, and on a personal level I think I like every subtle change Oohashi-san did to the sculpt was an improvement. Which, on an already great figure, shows how much his passion for these characters is; he is constantly re-thinking, re-imagining. Simply amazing work, thanks for the details shots D.

Ughhhh. So good! There is a lot of Buta on my want list, but the Zarab set is the one that keeps me up at night. Someday....hopefully. LL said it best, I can't live without my radio.
