By all means, bud, do what you do, how you do. You'll never be able to please everyone anyway, so as long as you're happy, you're doing it right. Though now that you've been criticized, I'd say you're officially a skullbrain member now. A shitty rite of passage? Maybe. But everyone here has gotten it at 1 time or another. If this thread was in the right section, I'd say turn it into your customs thread

Both push me to keep doing what I am doing.

Re: this needs to be stopped
As long as someone isn't stripping someone else's hard work, I don't find these customs insulting. That's not to say that people can't strip toys and repaint... sometimes factory toys can use a repaint, or something gets so scuffed and scratched that it isn't worth keeping the original paint anymore. I guess it's your money, your toy, your choice. Still, a little part of me dies when I see a toy bought just for the purpose of being stripped and painted. The artist did put some love into that paint job, after all.

Re: this needs to be stopped
Anyone has the 'right' to do whatever they want with any toy in their ownership.
Conversely I have the 'right' to think that they are a waste of paint (invariably far too much and usually metallic seems to be de rigour these days), time and effort . . . and that they suck balls!
I am not a number!
