There are a lot of basic ways to fight bots (I work IT security for a living). If any maker wants some help, feel free to PM me. That being said, not every drop you miss is the fault of bots. The simple fact of the matter is there are a lot more people that want the toy you want than are being made. Sure, maybe if toys only sold to "true fans", whatever the Hell that means, your odds would be 3:1 and with bots its 4:1 or 5:1, maybe worse depending on the maker. Ultimately, if you want your main hobby to be collecting limited edition stuff, expect to be disappointed.

I'm loving everything Retro is doing and can't wait to see what this year holds. It's been a rough week for drops but hopefully that means I'll be lucky soon lol

Makes me think of a character Shinji Mikami would create. I like the idea of clothing as an accessory when it benefits the design. I don't need a pair of pants for everything. With MEATS the apron and bloody meat cleaver works perfectly. And the great thing is if you don't like it, just don't put it on. I know if I can score a Zug some day and get it painted I'll probably keep his loincloth off and start a "toys with penises" shelf

Re: Retroband I agree, Im all about clothing as long as it's executed well. A good amount of time was spent on the accessories/fittings of MEATS. Those who own one will indeed see that. Different types of material were used for the apron and each have a very unique/different distress application, no two the same. You can def expect future releases will have the same attention to detail. This is only the beginning.

I'd also love to see a dead skin apron too. I'd totally buy just the apron!

Re: Retroband Just got my Meats today. Holy shit. If this toy was 6 feet tall, I don't think I'd ever be able to sleep again. His paint job is just silky smooth, I don't know any other way to describe it.

Re: Retroband I just realized how long ago I missed this. Came out great! Sorry about the bots though. Maybe if at the time of sale, there is a link presented that takes you to a page to buy? I don't know how sophisticated bots can get. I'm trying my damnedest for a future release.
