only bond story to not be made into an official, recognized movie until now though. they made some TV movie that was considered unauthorized years ago because it sorta spoofed the whole Bond thing.

total connery

that's when the movies didn't rely totally on special effects. they were made from the heart, and that creativity showed. it's like the difference between old godzilla movies and newer godzilla movies, I like both, but for totally different reasons.

I think this Bond is probably the best bond A.C. (After Connery) After all, that's how all Bonds are gauged. This guy looks the part and he's not to shabby in the acting department. + Eva Green is the smoking leading lady which automatically puts this one over the top. My pre review is two thumbs, and third leg up.

i like daniel craig cuz he's not a pretty boy like all the other bonds ('cept tha king, Connery)

he's a good actor and i think he'll do well if theres a decent script and they don't cheese it to the max like all the other recent bond films.

Bond should be clever, charismatic and compelling. not drowned by crappy special effects and silly plot devices :(

+1. He also looks like he could kick all the other Bond's asses without any gadgets with the exception of Connery of course.
I definitely feel they're going in a better direction. That movie preview reeks of retro Connery goodness. His speedo brief action, that scene with Eva on the beach and some good old testosterone that the previous Bonds lacked since you know who. I think this will be the first Bond movie I see in theaters since For you Eyes Only.
