First time I saw the Sludge Kraken...the beak reminded me of the pogekkin

Yeah iv been checking that thing out on Pauls Instagram feed. Its pretty damn crazy looking. Really loving the sculpt so far. Especially that blaster in its hands.

This one is right up there with Krono for me, as far as toy of 2016, though they're neck in neck!

Love how much articulation is in this figure. The tentacles on the stomach give it a much more dangerous, "I'm gonna get you" feel, and the blaster is just fun. The dual beaks and faces is really awesome, too. Very curious as to its size.

This guy is incredible, my hoard of bats are going to have a next door neighbor(hopefully). The proportions are a bit cuter, almost babylike, but overall this dude is just weird and I love it. Can't wait to see more.

Super excited about the new kraken sculpt! Having a hard time telling the scale of this, looks bigger than a boss but smaller than a dualbat, but who knows.. Who cares! Everything about this sculpt is perfect!

Looks identical to the DX is size and bulk.

I'd definitely be perfectly excited for that size, but given the Dual Bat's recent upscale, I wouldn't mind this particular fellow bein' around that ballpark! Either way, I'll be very happy to see this villainous leviathan in sofubi!

This toy is just cute enough for me to keep thinking about it..but I keep forcing it out cause I know it'll be a toy I'll be so far from acquiring.. I just imagine a white or glow with light blue sprays and its amazing. Or even something like the aurora Unchiman (that I'll also never attain ;/). I'd of course prefer a nice lighter blank but.

If it does end up being SDCC, I will figure out a trip for my first comic con since I was a kid...

Paul, any chance you might do a quick walk through video of the new mold factory? I love seeing this stuff and it really breaks my heart to think about the masters that have been doing this for generations passing away without anyone to pass the craft on to.

I think he may be referring a new factory in Japan, unless I'm simply misunderstanding. Also, that last sentence doesn't make sense to me 'cause, if there wasn't anyone on the receiving end of the knowledge to the craft, it wouldn't still be going.

I am referring to Mold making factory that relocated to a bigger space last summer.
They make the copper molds that go to the factories that pull the vinyl.

I probably won't be visiting there. But who knows?

Well if you did that would make for an awesome vid. That process is still fascinating to me and seeing all the molds hanging is awesome.

Paul states that both the Hyper Kraken and the Chimera are getting wax finished and tests shots should be done in a few weeks!

Just killing it. These are a great addition to Paul's already amazing pantheon of characters. And the process shots on IG have made this a joy to watch come to fruition.

My little grubby fingers cant wait to get a chance to play with these cool cats.

I love how much like a little kid these make me feel, especially the little details in the eyes and limbs that make the toys feel like they've always been around at the local supermarkets alongside the ultra baddies and creepy ghouls from outer space.
