To each their own . . . that don't do zip for me!
It's seems like self-inflicted creative repression just to make a fast $$$ . . . . 'I got this great figurative painting . . . how can I crowbar it onto a platform toy!'
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't!

haha , man thats pretty harsh. But look at his paintings man, if Toy2R stepped to you and said "yo we got this toy that looks like your painting" what would you do on it?
Again, it looks sick, to bad its that much I'd scoop it up.

MASS produced garbage ! I can hardly give away any [expletive deleted] I bought only a year ago. Some i'm gonna keep, but you would think the others would be worth something. No such luck ! They just keep pumping them out. My advice, save your money !

So are you buying toys just to sell them or just because they might be worth something later?
I buy stuff I like. Stuff I like to look at, take photos of, rearrange, etc
I don't care if the next [expletive deleted] (or any toy/figure for that matter) that I like is an edition of 10,000 or an edition of 10.

I think once in awhile everyone ends up selling something they no longer want or desire. My point was that if someone needs to sell something they should hopefully be able to count on getting some of thier money back. The problem with alot of western vinyl is the company's make it seem like items are limited at first, then six months later the flood gates of mass production open up. Seems like a fairly decietful business practice if you ask me.
Alot of the toys we buy cost big bucks and sometimes we collectors might find our budgets maxed out and have a need to sell other items in order to obtain the items we think we need now. No flipping here just trying to express my own opinion. I think integrity and customer loyalty are connected in the long run. It's just a shame when greed takes over !

I think a lot of people have been disappointed about colorwayitis in Qeeland. What really got under my skin was the resurrection of Baseman's DKNY [expletive deleted] for multiple (horrendous!) colorways. Let's face it, with a platform toy, manufacturers can't use the "We need to manufacture multiple colorways to recoup our investment" argument. Every new print is money in the bank.
I like some of the [expletive deleted] designs: The Motug Eggs, Soto's [expletive deleted] (the original version), Baseman's original DKNY...but because of the way releases are handled and designs are milked, I have very very few [expletive deleted] left and think two, three....10 times before letting new figures into my collection.
