the rumor is that walmart will be getting limited quantities going on sale Wednesday morning. has anyone else heard this or have proof?

I have class Wednesday morning that I can't miss (or my grade will drop) and we have NO 24 hour walmarts in philly (BULLSHIT!!)

anyone have a hook up or know something I don't know?

yes. there will be wii's at walmart on dec 6th. we have eight of them at my store right now waiting. they cannot be sold until the 6th.

jackie, from the checking I've done even some of the 24 hour stores around here are starting to sell it at 7-8 AM tomorrow.

how much are they selling Wii in the States?? its about $300 here for the US edition machine and about $250 for the Japanese version. Yes, only the Jp edition can play Jp games. Both editions are readily availble in HK.

I don't know, it seems like everyone on the internet knows that Walmart is getting them. any walmart I called and asked "can I be transferred to the electronics department" they would just ask "are you calling about the Wii?" and tell me the deal right then.

well maybe if you didn't post about it on skullbrain, less people would have known...

you know, it's really disappointing having to grow up and have commitments.

if this was 3-5 years ago, I would probably have one by now because I wouldn't have had to worry about missing jobs or class or any of that stuff. I would just go out and wait, no big deal. but then again I also delivered pizzas for a living.

It was kinda funny yesterday at Bestbuy... I went to go pick up Pirates 2 yesterday, and I got to the Bestbuy near my work a little early, and there was a pack of people standing outside the door waiting.

As soon as the door opened, they all flooded in, sorta did a cursory survey of the floor as a pack and they all left as a group when they saw that there weren't any Wiis or PS3s. It kinda looked like a bunch of rats going through a maze.

there were 33 wiis at our walmart, one of my professors tried getting one but he was number 37 in line.

they got like 21 at mine... people started leaving the line then magically they said they had 7 more and i was #6! then there was a discussion at the counter and then magically there was not a surplus of 7. fuck walmart!

you know whats weird about this is the day they released we had 20 and there were still some there the next day. now, theyre selling faster than we can get them.
