It was pretty awesome - lost power at the bookstore and had to shoo everyone out. The whole town pretty much lost power for most of the night. We had hail later on in the day and some downright sunny patches so it was a pretty weird weather day to be sure.

Very weird weather! 60/70 mph winds, then rain, then clear, then snow, then sun, then hail...now just cloudy.
Makes for an interesting commute when you ride a motorcycle!

Can we have any extra rain? Just what ever you guys don't need will do!
We got drought here. Not to mention half my state is on fire.
Weather be going haywire the world over. You had a lot of changes in one day! It made the news over here.

I didn't go to work today - the bridge was closed and there was no power or services at work anyway.

Riding to work yesterday was a challenge. The wind practically pushed me all the way and it was super hard staying upright at traffic lights.
Going home was fine though. Just a light headwind.
Weird shit.

I went to mail something out at the post office yesterday, and they had no power. That was an interesting experience.

You mean the post office staff can actually get slower?

A couple weeks ago when it was really gusty, I got broadsided by a huge gust and it pushed me into another lane of traffic! Good thing there weren't any cars next to me!

Exactly!
They had one mechanical scale to weigh everyone's pacakages. And they had to use stamps for all of the postage since they couldn't print labels. One lady sent a big box of jams or something really heavy. They had to put $40 worth of stamps on it. It was kind of funny.
