I don't think it's sad. The guy lived a long life and is leaving behind a legacy. Hanna-Barbera practically raised me. He's going to live forever through all of his characters. What will you do before you get to 95?

When I first read the title, I thought it refered to the loss of royalties on cartoons for some reason.
