hey John I asked Brian about that and he said that the companies in Japan don't give out production numbers because they want people to collect because they like them not because they are RARE!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome-I like the fact they wont put out numbers..It eliminates the "greed" factor thats so prominent w/some "other" collectibles-lol

Either that, or it getscollectors to think that pretty much every piece is rare, so you'd better get them quick, or you just won't be able to later.

It also allows RxH to make more later on if they want to.
I would normally care but the RxH stuff is so good it does not matter to me how rare they are.

Am I alone in liking the Oni's? They have a basic punk rock look and feel about them, and providing I don't get shot down by the big spenders I'd like to go for one or two of them. Sounds like competition will be low from here as no one likes them, right?

The vibe seems like you'd face less competition for those.

Uh-oh...so, Oni's are in fact popular, and it sounds like it will be Skullbrainer Vs Skullbrainer then. I'd say "Let the battle begin" but I don't have the energy or the bank balance to do it justice.......

if you count a few guys and gals talking smack on a disc bd; then yes, they are indeed popular!!
These figures really are great though; the only one I don't like is the Bigaro.

That's a good question. Perhaps it has some relation to the English name "Bigelow."

Yeah, Mutant Evil be my favourite then Mutant Head and Bigaro. It seems from the pics I see of the Bigaro, the paint on the Bigaro's eye often seems a little rough or stands out a little too much. Might be just the pics though.

well, this guy/gal is definitely a completist, I'll give him that. I was bidding on all of these oni-heads and had to be away from the computer for the auctions' end...still not sure if really want to pay $150 plus for each of these figures. Maybe I'll try for that last metallic blue one though...

The guy flips stuff on E-bay - looks like mainly Star Trek shit!
He also deal in Funko stuff. I have mentioned him on other threads. Apparently someone got a recent inheritence cause I sell the same shit and it is S L O W going right now!
