Oh man, this is NOT going to make me popular. There were only 6 of these, but for some reason the shopping cart let an extra 10 figures be purchased. I am looking into the problem, but I am almost 100% certain these "over orders" will be cancelled. I am going to get a stock re-check in Japan. I apologize for this. There was over 20 people trying to order at the same time. Talk about a nightmare... I'm sorry guys, I will get this worked out as soon as I can.

The fair thing to do would be to scrap all those orders and put the 6 up for grabs again

(kidding, good luck to those who got an order in)

Heh, at least you weren't in happy land for 30 minutes till your order was canceled. ;)

Eh, think of it this way. Only 6 were sold. That's a tiny number, and the website got bombarded. Even if you were there at the exact minute they went up (as I was), you still could have lost out as you were completing your order/payment info.

Just the way it goes...

Yes, I engaged the beast in battle and lost as the Paypal gorgon forced me to reinput information several times.

Perhaps today is a good day to die!

Well get ready to hunt this down if you really want it via high prices and crazy trades.

I'm just gonna wait for my chance at a Zodiac Box and Purple Bagman.

2 days later, the battle will begin again.

I was in front of my pc the whole time but still miss it due to time misinformation.

But aren't there supposed to be more Bagmen than this guy? I do prefer the sculpt and colors of the Bigger skullmen, and I gotta get more, I only have the 1 but the fighter based bagmen are awesome too and I only have the GNO one.

Post The Down-Low on the order cancellations.
Okay, I just found the problem This happened once before (with the SkullBee's) but we thought it was due to something else. I just now confirmed that it is not a shopping cart error, but rather an order error due to the nature of PayPal (but also a problem with the way customer's checkout/pay - wait, don't shoot me yet!).

Here's the scenerio:

Say there is 2 toys in stock.
1. Mr. A puts one in his cart, and then goes to the checkout.
2. While he's in there Mr. B does the same thing. Stock should now be sold out... but, it's NOT (stock is only taken away when the money goes through via paypal).
3. Meanwhile... Mr.C comes in and adds one to cart (remember, the system still thinks there are 2 in stock because no one finished paying through PayPal yet).
4. Mr.A gets a phone call (further delaying his payment - yet he still thinks he's safe cause he got it in his cart first).
5. Mr. B also feels he is safe and takes his sweet time inputting his PayPal info.
6. Then Mr. C is a fast typer and gets all his info in quick, and sends off his PayPal payment. BANG! He actually gets the first one!! (system changes stock to 1 left)
7. Mr.B then finished his PayPal payment and lucks out (System changes stock to 0 - which means sold out)
8. Mr. A finally gets off the phone, completes his Paypal and money is sent to us at SxWxW. He sits back feeling great that he scored a rare item. But, little does he know that the System has now put the stock to -1!!!

So, this is what happened today, except multiply that by 10 times! These toy sales are getting really popular. There were over 50 ppl in the store when these went up. Last time there was maybe 20. So, I fear this problem again. I am thinking about scrapping PayPal and going for another credit card pay gateway that is much faster at processing.

I offer my apologies to anyone who had one in their grasp and had it taken away. Also, I am sorry about my error in previously saying PST instead of EST.

I will just let everyone know that there will be a lot more stock of the Purple SkullBxBxB figure (available on the 4th), so I think (hope) this problem will not happen again.

Scapegoat: Have you considered putting everything up at one time on EBAY and maybe raising the price a little for ebay fees?

This worked so well when the Acid Head [expletive deleted] were sold by another online store... just a suggestion.

ebay buy it now is a good idea for these short run items. especailly if you are marketing the toy by the limited qty. I am sure some people today were buying for that rare quality and not for their growing skullman collection.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will think about it.

I don't know if eBay is the way to go though. I think me and the guys in Japan need to sit down and think about what we are going to do. We really don't want to raise the prices as we are trying to make these things available for people outside of Japan, but at non-rip-off prices (like they usually are if you are not lucky enough to be in Japan).

I'm going to try and figure this out. I don't think the system will change before the SkullBxBxB's go up on the 4th though... so there might be some cancelled orders again. (though I hope to go there won't be... we really did get more stock than usual!)
