Stock is up 5%

As a stock holder, I was watching the stock through the keynote...

when the announced the AppleTV box, the stock dropped 1.70... then when they announced the phone, it went right back up and then some. It's fun to see how quickly the stock moves based on news.

as a happy stock holder and a happy come june iphone buyer, i'm well, happy

June? These things aren't coming out until June? Great!!! More time for the hype to build and the stock price to rise...

Sell in late May.

BTW - the market usually responds to the news inappropriately (the stock collapsed when they announced itunes). So the phone might be a bust and the apple TV box could be huge. I can't wait to see how it plays out.

i honestly don't see myself having one in the near future though... i'm fine with my OG ipod and my beater cell phone

the only problem I see with the phone is the huge screen will get ruined in my pocket and case is a deal breaker for me.

damn! I always jump on these new apple items, I flipped out when that first ipod came out. this has come at a bad time too because I have been trying to decide which pda phone I want to get. now it is for sure this one. ahhhh!

The phone looks rad and but i doubt i'd ever switch to cingular no matter how cool the phone is. Everyone I know who's used them has had horror stories about their customer service and shady billing.

ohh man...i want one!!! I will try to be a smart consumer though, and wait for the inevitable larger hard drive model next year. I learned my lesson with my 30 gig ipod. hah

My mate did the same thing with his iPod.
Being in Oz we get dribbles of supply early on for a product and generally have to wait until other markets have been mainly sorted. My mate was mad keen for an iPod though and we went down one lunch break to get/order one for him. He had to put his name down but was told a few weeks waiting time. Months went by and still no love. He was mad keen when one day he got a call from the apple store out of the blue. "We have an iPod here for you, come down in the next day or so if you still want it.". Needless to say we powered down there that lunch and picked it up $999 AUS it cost him for the 30Gig. A week later the had the 40Gig for sale in stock for $899!!! He was so livid. To this day I still bring it up and give him shit about it!!
