Just look up some more detail from a friend's message regarding this ZAG
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
This is the original version character "Zagora" licensed by Daikyo.
Gargamel "Zagoran" is inspired by Daikyo"Zagora"!
Zagora by Daikyo is ORIGINAL!(NOT Zagoran by Gargamel!)
The vinyl and spray colors are exact the same same one of the doll sold in
1970.
Now the current maker is called "Mr. Hukkokudo San". The president of "Hukkokudo" now is legally approval from "Daikyo"

Except that last sentence.
You sure are talkative tonight... more so than any other period.

More than likely, you would just pull some silicone duplications of the original toy, in the event that the original molds no longer existed...
I can't believe that this is such a revelation to everyone. There have been photos and discussion of this vintage Zagora toy on this board in the past when one turned up on YJA and sold for crazy money. (Over a year ago, if I recall)
That is the beauty of the name too. Gargamel just ganked it by adding a "n" to the end...from
ザゴラ to ザゴラン

a lot of people weren't around a year ago.. and I think more discussion is over the poster/reissue

This re-issue was offered for pre-order through a certain dealer last week, and I was interested in seeing how long before the news appeared here, but I definitely wasn't expecting some 'new member' to hype it in this strange fashion at the beginning of this thread.

I think the female is the repro, and the garagamel one is the male. Zag family once you add the mini's.
