Gargamel lucky bag items on ebay right now
Just search under Gargamel - all are buy-it-now. Some of the stuff is already gone but there's still some crawling hedorahs, some minis and a mini smogun.
It's not my auction - just consider this a public service announcement for the board.
Good luck!

You are probably right. I jumped on some unpainted mini's from Kung Fu toys at $50 each as well (and I'm not talking about a Zag either) - guess my excitement got the best of me.

How is that? Do you know what these bags cost? I got a B bag and there is NO WAY that its contents could be sold for the $434 that I paid for it. NO WAY. $50 per the minor figures seems very fair. I can't even afford one of the large Zags that are now going for more than $250 -- and I did not get one of those, as did not many others.
Explain how you figure people are getting ripped off.
Dealers did not pay retail -- but there are only 2 dealer in SF (Super 7 & Max Toys). I think Kung Fu Toys got a large bag, and perhaps one other place USA. Then everyone else had to pay retail, like me. I am not unhappy really, just unlucky that I did not get the narrow scope of Gargamels that I collect (no zags, no deathras, etc.). Still, overall, the figures from the lucky bags individually should retail for more than the regular releases given their cost. Trust me, I would prefer that there were
1000 lucky bags with everything and that they cost $20. But that aint the reality

Not any more there isn't!
Thanx!
(Jeez! You were faster than my ebay search!)
As for the price: well, the dollar-to-weight ratio sucks,
but as this was the only lucky bag item I actually wanted
... I'm happy!
 See?

nobody forced people buy bags, the rest of us have been scrambling to try and get them!
its not about the money, its about all those goodies inside.
i'd pony up the dough fast if i'd had the chance and the money to cover the bill.

The big bags were very expensive. One of the unpainted mini Zags on ebay just went for $57. I think that is a smoking deal for a mini Zag! What is this impending cease and desist? I must have missed something!

I think a lot of potential buyers were turned off because it was Kidclam's alternate ebay ID selling it...

Man at those prices who cares who it is! They would have been perfect for someone with a limited spending budget to start a great Gargamel collection!

Thats not really how alot of us do things around here.
And you have to factor in the "true" shipping and packaging from hong kong into the price.
So it wasn't really 57.

Don't go sour grapes on me because i called you out on that mini-zag.
$95 for a smogun keychain is taking advantage of people. ~$200 for standard size zokki's is taking advantage.
Spending $434 on a B bag that gargamel says cost 20,000 yen (~$170US) is your problem and you could have said no.
The sad thing is it's suckers like you that rush for these ebay deals and feed the flipper aftermarket. Then it ripples into people here thinking that that is what these shitty toys are worth. People think that if it's on ebay for $200 then it's rare and sought after and then they need it regardless of whether it's a good or bad toy. Everytime you applaud or even support shit like this, you are just making it worse. You're just setting up opportunistic people to profit off of people under the guise of 'just giving people a chance to get these toys.'

I'm thinking the best solution is for Gargamel to offer these up to US buyers directly...
$434 That's a hefty price tag...I guess I'm lucky I misssed the option to buy. I couldn't have swung that.
Wasn't there a plan to open up their online store to folks over here?

$434 for the bag... how much does that come out to per figure?

Hell yes it would be cool if Gargamel sold to us! They sell to some U.S. vendors why not us? I will post the contents of my Big Ass Special Bag when I get it in today!

What bugs me is when people sell shit and preface with "I just want to get back what I paid". That's all fine and dandy unless they overpaid to begin with! Fuck the "cost". I'm not gonna overpay just because someone else was dumb enough to.
