 New Spandroid
go to rotofugi.com if you want one.
I think this is a poor follow up to the 1st version. Bummer.

Wow, how unimpressive can you get.
The great challenge of picking a font? the two colors?
Not my type of toy frist of all, but the original looked clean and had some thought put into it....Not to be a dick but I almost feel like getting one to attempt to do it justice...
Maybe i just don't 'get it', I am sure it will sell out in a few days.

Thre are also hand sprayed versions which are much radder, each one is unique due with some having individual drawings on them. No idea how u got one of those tho.

I'm sure they guys at SURU in L.A. are thrilled with the figure.
It's a promotional figure, after all.
If I had a company like SURU, I'd want my logo on one of those, too!!!
If I shopped there, I'd probably also want one of them in my collection.

Please do!
... and no, I'm not personally nuts for this design either. The Spandroid shape yes, the logo treatment, not so much...but to each his own. I'll probably get one for myself and have it customed.

SURU sells mainly tee shirts, on a cool revolving rack that transports em around the store - and also sells toys - not the greatest selection (and I've been in there and said that). After I mentioned that the toy selction was kind of sucky, I was driving by and the girl who works in there (who is hella nice) came out and gave me a Spandroid. Cool or what.
These stores are all so weird tho, the guy who owns it and teh girl who works there are cool, and friendly. But last time I went in there was a guy behind the counter with the cool store attitude down pat. Love that, makes me never want to go in again.
Mind u, nothing beats my last visit to Alife in NYC - thise guys redefined store clerk assholism.

Most of the people working at these stores would be lucky to do ANYTHING else than sell t-shirts, they should lose the damn attitude!

man.....you came to NYC and we didn't link up? I could of saved you the frustration of a visit there...we could of just rolled by and thrown a rock at their window...I know what you mean though.....they cop mad attitude there. You know when NYC had that blackout a while back...their shoe store Rivington Club was the only store that got busted into and jacked for their goodies....go figure....a little bit of L.E.S. karma
