In the end it is really a moot point. Let's face it, the original Daikyo version is a bootleg. It was never licensed from the manga it came from. Later Gargamel makes their own "version" of it, by removing the back spikes. Due to the increasing popularity, mostly from the mini size, A "real" reproduction of the original bootleg has now been made. Who is really in the right, and who is in the wrong? In the end, everyone is right and wrong, just one big mess of grey. This whole thread should convince you to sell me your realxhead vinyls. BTW the new skull toys minis rock.

They are just being playful garadama.
It will be very popular especially if it is released in clear or GID vinyl.
I am glad they are redoing it so I don't have to pay over $600 for the original!

With only having the info on this thread to go by...If Daikyo and Gargamel did not "officially" license the rights to make this figure from the Manga well then two wrongs don't make a right. And it makes no sense that Hukkokudo would license or get legal rights from a company (Daikyo) who according to this thread, made the figure unofficially. That would be three wrongs that certainly don't make a right because the bottom line is that the creator or artist of the manga is basically getting his character/art ripped off and not being compensated. And no I am not getting rid of my Gargamel's just yet and I want this damn reissue.
If anybody has more info on the Manga, I'd love to see it.

I love bootlegs! My buddy was getting killer funky Star Wars boots from Mexico a couple of years ago, they were so cool and the paints were off the wall! I still need those two mini Zags!

I read the japanese , it said the mold which used in 1970 was now being reused. That's why it's so incredibly hot. Man

these are not limited to 50! Only 50 were sold at the show, more are on the way. I think the people paying stupid prices for these will regret it later.
