Post Video file conversion- .MOV to....
...any of the file types(.asf, .avi, .m1v, .mp2, .mp2v, .mpe, .mpeg, .mpg, .mpv2, .wm, and .wmv) supported by Windows Movie Maker. My son has saved some Quicktime clips from the web that he wants to use in a school project (on Zorbing- look it up), but needs to convert them to do the editing.

I haven't been able to find really concise answers by trawling around...I had thought you could actually use Quicktime Pro to convert .MOV files to other file types, but apparently not (at least, I can't figure out how).

I see there are many coversion apps for vid files offered by different sites, but thought I would check in here and see if anyone knows what's good for this (and hopefully not too pricey).

Thanks in advance!

-Mike

^ that would work.

if it doesn't look into WINDOWS MEDIA CLEANER. I use that for my website and it has a bunch of different file conversion/compression options.
