I'm working on adding some of the bbcode stuff to the editor. So far I've added Imgwidth, Instagram and the old board's YouTube to the editor. This board has spoiler and strikethrough bbcodes built in, but there aren't icons for them in the editor. I'm looking into why that is.
I have a suggestion for the Instagram tag. It would be nice if you could paste either the image ID or just the whole link you get as the "share" url provided by the app. It would just be a little more convenient if the whole url could go between the tags. For example: https://www.instagram.com/p/BG0iGWvpdTA/
We should eliminate the old YouTube tag, as the new embedding system eliminates the onsite playback issues that plague at least half of the old video posts.
The way the Insta bbcode works is that it displays the photo, but the photo is also a link to the page of the photo on Instagram. Or did you just mean so you didn't have to edit out the part of the URL that doesn't need to be there?
@toothaction That would kill all of the previously posted videos. I can remove it from the editor, but I'd rather not have a bunch of ugly code lurking around in those old posts.
I just meant to suggest that you not include it / add it back in to the fresh set of posting options, not retroactively deactivate all existing posts with the old code in them!

It's not a programmer thing it's a design thing. Less stuff on screen makes it look better than tons of info that you're not really looking at all. Iuno, I find it a lot more clean looking and enjoy it. I'm sorry it annoys you so much, Lixx

Im going to try this question again, is there a way to add a previous/next post button like we had on the last site, instead of having to back out of one post to the next. Sorry if my jibberish didnt make sense before. Also for some reason my FS/FT section doesnt show up when accessing the site on my phone, it just skips over it.
I'm really having trouble with the thin and barely visible borders throughout threads. Just seems like mess to me when I look at it with words and numbers and colors everywhere. Waaaaaaaaay too busy for such vague borders. Basically more contrast and division would help me. Thanks for putting in all the work!
Unless you're seeking some of that info and now have to take extra steps to find it. Site looks a lot less clean than the old one IMO.

No, conversations are exactly the same as PM's, just called something different. They're definitely private. @trueadrn saw a post on Chuck's profile, not a conversation.
is there a way to have it so when you click on a thread title (the actual title text), it takes you to the start of the thread? that's the way it used to work. It seems as of right now, theres no easy way to get right to the beginning of a thread. Edit: apparently, after the thread has been "read", then the title link will take you to the beginning. not a big deal.
