Okay James, sorry about that. There ended up being a lot of overlap between the two threads, so it makes sense. I was intending this one to be focused on the technical stuff/things people found weren't working ideally, and the other discussion more for a general site feedback and for suggestions and whatnot that could be possibly incorporated as an eventuality, i.e. not necessarily related to the switchover. It wasn't my intent to further redundancy on the board.

I just made a gigantic list of everything that's been mentioned / requested with the help of @toothaction on the first post of this thread. Re: Quote only quotes last post - I understand the reasoning behind this, but it renders quoting kinda obsolete, because if you just quote the very last part of a conversation, it rarely makes sense anymore. From my personal experience it was much more convenient quickly editing out the irrelevant parts than it would be to restore the original post structure manually...
I agree. The former quoting configuration was more user friendly. The current setup only prevents having to read back 1 posts worth with each quote, so you'll many times still find the need to backtrack for the full story.

Maybe I missed something but I thought it was decided that the "like" system was going to be disabled? The idea itself is pretty stupid but getting alerts for likes is just annoying. Also where is the spoiler tag button thing?

I am curious. I enjoy the return of the old emojis (in general I find too large size, too many colours, too much animation, etc., a big distraction for posts on any forum), but who made the Damnedron emoji? And is there plans to bring in any others?
I found the Damnedron in the emojis folder while making the transition, no idea who made him. I made a few Grass Hut characters into emojis a few years ago if anyone would be interested in those guys coming to play here.
Well I thank you and appreciate his addition, and send out my love to the mysterymaker. I don't see why the GH guys couldn't be used, barring any objections, if they are sized accordingly (i.e. not like those on the GH forum). I would be interested in making some custom SB ones too, of course, if that was another option.
