Very very very very very very carefully... Seriously though, we took the shelves out and left the glass walls in tact. We wrapped them in moving blankets and duct taped the blankets shut. We stood them up right in the truck. I didn't really drive any slower than normal however I only had to drive about 15 minutes away.
Crap yes forgot to mention that earlier- seems like a no brainer but yeah make sure you take the floating glass shelves out first! I put all my glass shelves in a magazine rack and separated them with cardboard stiffner inserts I had lying around from mailing vinyl records. Worked like a charm to keep them safe.
