Well, the 'vampire' I thought was about the only redeeming thing about the whole movie (maybe the haunted house for a minute or two) but the problem was they really needed to expand upon that; that was kind of what I was trying to say. Just spending 95% of segment filled with the terrible acting and nonsense and then popping up the threat at the end seems so silly. They could have easily expanded that or brought some kind of synergy by having her be in the other parts.
Oh yeah I liked the haunted house one to I guess I have bad taste. I only rented it for the Ti West story and that was pointless. What the hell was that?

Romero Nosferatu the Vampyre, '79 - Werner Herzog , Upir Z Feratu, '82 - Juraj Herz Lifeforce, '85 - Tobe Hooper Near Dark, '87 - Kathryn Bigelow The Lair of the White Worm, '88 - Ken Russell Vampire's Kiss, '89 - Robert Bierman Cronos, '93 - Guillermo del Toro The Addiction, '95 - Abel Ferrara Night Watch, '04 - Timur Bekmambetov Day Watch, '06 - Timur Bekmambetov Let the Right One In, '08 - Tomas Alfredson Thirst, '09 - Chan-wook Park I've seen some of them dozens of times, some just once, but all of which I'd likely pop in the machine again. Please excuse the lack of Jean Rollin, Jess Franco and deeper sleaze on the list - and you can keep your Hammer! Honorable mentions to Love at First Bite and that two-parter from Buck Rogers.
Near Dark, '87 - Kathryn Bigelow One of my all time favourite vampire flicks . . . . i remember my mate had a Fangoria poster of a severely mashed-up Bill Paxton on his wall for years!
I really like the first Ford Brothers film: The Dead, now they've made a sequel taking place in India: looks entertaining...
