not quite a drawing but monster art non the less.. turning myself into tarman! not quite finished yet..but soon!
^^^ Thanks dudes! I did the face/head for Dago and had so much fun with it that I just went ahead and did the whole body. Being a Bikkuriman fan I've been wanting to do something like this for a while, I felt CK was a perfect fit.
michael just had a show at my gallery in portland, and did a bunch of awesome monster heads for halloween. heres a couple that i like..
Here's the cover to a full 32 page comic book that I've been spending just about every free second I have drawing up over the past 4 weeks.. Still have a few pages to draw before Supanova comic con here in Australia. Should be all done in about 2 weeks! Back to drawing!
I've been drawing cute monsters and posting them on social networks. Some of you have seen them and I just wanted to say thanks for the likes For the most part, they are all between 5-15 minute drawings on my cellphone. They started out as being on Post-It notes during morning meetings (which would last 5-15 minutes) but have gone the way of digital. They are more towards the cute side (like Hello Kitty, Itokin Park sort of look) so I'm not sure if they fit in with the skullbrain aesthetic.
Post 'em up Bert! Worst that will happen is some tool will say he doesn't like them. Tarman costume- EXCELLENT! One of my all time favorites. I watched that again a couple years ago and didn't realize what a great soundtrack it had. When I saw it as a youth it wasn't punk enough for me! Lame. I have two solo art shows coming up shortly, this will be the promo image for one of them, tentatively titled GIANT MONSTERS TOTAL COMBAT
They get posted on Instagram which will post it to Facebook (which will post it to Twitter), Tumblr, and Flickr. The past couple of drawings were chairs. No one seems to like them as much but I don't care. I like drawing them.
