First two episodes of DEVS were awesome!!
^Intrigued to see Offerman in a sinister role.
Garland + Mizuno + Offerman = My attention.
Devs is insane. Highly recommend!
I'm guessing we got a case of the 'VVitch here' with the typography and maybe there's a double-meaning with the title.. Deus seems just as fitting!
You wanna watch some really weird, bizarre shit during quarantine, throw on Tiger King. I’m still having a hard time accepting some of the happenings actually...happened.
Same but I'm in love with it. It's so weird.
I've got tiger king on right now! Also Devs is really good. The movie platform on netflix was cool.
Thanks guys, Tiger King is crazy. Missed opportunity on not calling it "Catshit Insane" tho
I loved loved loved Kingdom.
(It’s a “South Korean political period supernatural thriller...” but it can basically be explained in two words: Korean Zombies”)
The costume work, the environments, set pieces, settings, everything just feels seamless. You totally get lost and immersed in it.
Some of the plot cues can go over your head just because there is so much going on. Also almost all the important characters have the same style of facial hair, which can be pretty confusing.
I reaaaally recommend it. It’s almost impossible to watch just one episode imo.
Oh god, we just started watching this last night.
On the off chance you're getting sick of sensationalist true crime docs, computer-assisted anime, SF-flavored action films, sit-com reruns and genre TV of all stripes, may I suggest spending some of your shut-in daze with the works of Ms. Lynn Shelton? Quiet, affecting, genuine, heartfelt and only as predictable as real human behavior. Not very made-to-order SB fare, I suppose, but I've been enjoying actually feeling something in my (uncountable) off hours of late. YMMV, obviously, but...

Skipping trailers and synopses is recommended, too - figuring out what her films are 'about' as you're drinking them in is especially rewarding with her odd little stories - but whatever gets you through the door. She also directed the last couple of Marc Maron's specials, FWIW, and has upped the game of over a dozen TV shows that you might be familiar with.
Anyway, I'm a fan and thought I might just throw down a little propaganda / sorbet suggestion. TTFN.
Uh, just..... holy fuckin' hell.
COMMUNITY IS COMING TO NETFLIX!!! 154th rewatch, here we come!
Sorry, Hulu, you gots commercials. Sorry, ISO files, you live on a hard drive in the other room.
Any fans of Big Mouth around here? A live table read will be happening in just a few minutes right here:
Could be fun, no? It's for charity, too. The addy will be somewhere, I'm sure.
Rick and Morty fans will like this.
Solar opposites. I can't wait.
^ Ah! Last I heard it was dead in the water... Hulu to the rescue! Good news, thanks for sharing.
I didn't much care for Altered Carbon s1. But I've been "watching" s2 while I have my morning coffee. It's awful.
Devs has been a real visual and auditory treat so far. Perfectly moody and mysterious world, yet so familiar and relatable to ours.
I believe there are only two episodes left so very curious how it's going to wrap.
@hellointerloper I haven't started the second season yet, but cannot wait to watch! The first season was amazing.
Just finished Ozark. Wasn't sure about it but I'm hooked. All 3 seasons build on each other. It's great.
Guilty here of absolutely loving S1. My boyfriend watched S2 on his own and said it was a pretty poor second season and it’s not worth watching. We rarely differ on our opinions of movies/shows, so I just ended up skipping it.
I’m not surprised one bit that you found it horrible.
Ozark was great. Also great and finished their third season is Future man. The last joke in the final episode was very very funny.
Altered Carbon feels like a waste
That would be quite generous!
Interesting. I was a fan of S01, I also read the book after watching which was excellent.
My brother has been telling me S02 was great, but admittedly I haven't spoken to him about it for a week or two. Can someone go into a bit more detail on why (in your opinion) S02 is a disappointment?
@The Moog - While you're waiting, could you sell us a bit on S01's merits?
