Woot! Celebrate your last free day for the next gazillion years, but be ready to be the happiest man alive too!
Thanks everyone! We've been at the hospital for about 3 hours now. I'm super tired and the wife is powering through some painful contractions. It's gonna be a long night!
Wooo!!! Good luck to the Mrs. and to you TiredChildren . Henry, Emma, and I are sending lots of encouragement and big hugs! Er.... just a little hint, don't tell your wife that you're "super tired" ok? Love the iBaby monitor system you have set up (wish I could do that with my kittehs!). Keep us posted if you can! How exciting! P.S. When you have the little one home, you might have to change your Board name to "TiredParent"
Thanks everyone! I'm back to the computer for the first time today since I'm back to work. It's definitely going to be hard concentrating on work with a cute baby in the next room, but I think I'll manage. Now who's next? Mike, you're up?
I am indeed up... and somehow, we both have a feeling she will come a bit earlier than her due date (6/06). I'm progressively more excited and nervous about the prospect of receiving the GO TIME! phone call each day I leave for work, now. We're feeling pretty good and prepared, though... done just about all we can to prepare for our homebirth, the rest is up to several tens of variables!
