thanks guys! so happy to have a baby around here again. almost forgot what it was like! the lack of sleep is totally worth it
We're having a BOY!!! (YES!..the Bloodline continues..) and his name will be, Pilot Storms Valenti. Storms is Sheila's Grandfather's name. She came up with Pilot on her own and I fell in love with the name once I heard it. We planned on using it even if the baby was a girl. She came up with it after my first surgery, with such a road ahead of us at that point, and that I was/am Piloting through my own storm in a sense. So is Sheila too, since I'll be wiped out for the latter part of her pregnancy with the rad and now chemo that I'll go through soon. Lucky for us, her family is local, so her mom will be able to help out when I can't. Just wanted to share the great news. We found out this morning at her appt. She's due Feb 25th.
Kiddo number two is on the way. My wife just had her first ultrasound, and everything is looking good so far.
Went yesterday for our "second level" ultrasound and found out were having a boy!! I really thought it was gonna be a girl, but I'm not upset about getting a son first. We just hit the halfway mark at 20 weeks, so seeing as how fast it's gone it'll feel like he'll be here sooner rather than later. Very much excited!
Congrats Greg! We were in the same boat - We were hoping we were going to have a girl, but found out we were having a boy. Now I couldn't possibly imagine having a baby that's any better than Jude. He's perfect!
As of 3:37 this afternoon I am now a dad! Mom and baby did awesome and it all went pretty fast considering it was baby #1. Overall an intense, exhausting, yet amazing day. Seeing my son being born was the most surreal moment of my life. Now time to try and get some rest. Been up since 5 am and haven't stopped moving since.
