strange or rare yahoo auctions post here (after theyre over)

@Alebrije @ultrakaiju - What a stunning piece. I have been watching the auction every day for the last week, and somewhat agonizing over the opportunity. It ticks all the right boxes for me -- a beautiful neck-down silver-coated blue/green Bullmark goji, which would be a favorite toy on any day, but seemingly in dead mint condition. The fact that it is still sealed is both a blessing and a curse to me. It could be regarded as a museum-worthy piece of history, with the original header in decent condition, and the vintage toy flyer included. It looks incredible, and it's the first bagged and sealed standard-size goji that I have seen. I agree though, it would be almost painful to keep it that way. The other downside is that the sealed status is surely to send the price into the realm of fantasy. At the end of the night, I did submit what I considered to be a significant bid, but came nowhere near the final price. Congrats to whomever picked up this treasure, and I hope it will be lovingly displayed in your home.

Ok, can someone help with these Cisco Booskas? Why is there such a price difference? Is the pink one more desirable than the orange version? Any help would be appreciated!

Version 1 ended at 7750 JPY



Version 2 ended at 39500 JPY!!!


Both of them were sold by the same seller, and listed at the same time, but there is a huge price gap!

 

Pink version is scarcer. All the Cisco Booska are premium prizes. The orange color appears to be standard and the most common in regards to all the Cisco prizes. I still need those wiggly eye versions which are slightly taller than the finger puppets I have.

 

Thank you Anthony! Both the orange and the pink are real cuties! You are so lucky to have yours, they are totally adorable, and look to be in GREAT shape - nice shiny eyes!

Grace I was also following this Magular, It is a true beauty; The orange color of the vinyl and the paint job is astonishment, I like how it is all the back covered.
I know that one day I will go crazy for a figure of these and I will not mind pull the trigger...

I had no idea up to now that a red version existed. I must find a buta red Magular too.

 

@ultrakaiju - The Mognezun figure looks like a lot of fun. I love his expression and the entire sculpt, even those tentacle-looking spines. Unlimited possibilities with that magnet hand as well. Awesome figure.

@ultrakaiju , thanks for posting the blue Mognezun. I wasn't aware a blue version existed. I've only seen the orange one on Club Tokyo. It's good to see that the spikes all survived intact. You might expect to see some breakage after all these years, but this one looks to be in good condition. Was he originally packaged with a mini car omake, that gets stuck on the magnet? Definitely a beauty for any collection!

@deafmetal , I was watching the pachi King as well. Love those greens, but didn't expect he'd fetch such a high ransom, considering the broken horn!

 

This cutie pie Tiger Mask pachi tryicycler ended at 27500 JPY. Love the "treads" on the trike tires!

Kong is staying in the bag. (He's Kong to me, despite the official name lol) but I know what you mean deafmetal, as amazing as it is to have them sealed in the bag, it would be amazing to see a pure mint one out of the bag. I just plan to keep an eye out for a loose one some day. It's amazing what the name "Godzilla" can do to a piece's value, because I am a bit stunned how much it went for. I didn't pay anywhere near that for Kong, and a bagged Marusan Mothra sold recently too for significantly less, and both are much harder to find than the standard Bullmark Godzilla when comparing loose versions.

 

@AWMGodzilla62 - Kong the King Very happy for you that you were able to snag that piece. I respect your decision to keep it sealed, but that must be tough! I agree with you that the Godzilla name carries a heavy weight. I actually just lost yet another auction for a sealed Bullmark goji that went for almost double what a similar loose figure goes for:

 

^^^ I saw that too! Sort of expensive for a mid-sized Goji, no? I suppose it's because it's still in its cocoon?

 

@Mr. Humphreys - Yes, the final bid is more than double of what a loose figure goes for. The brown vinyl version is a bit more rare than the blue goji as well.
