You know, when a quarter of the world's population is dead from swine flu, this thread won't be so funny. (maybe it will)
They get in the way. On the other hand, they deflect that self-styled "hero" Ultraman, so I can't whinge too much.
cover your mouth when you cough & sneeze. Wash your hands often! But seriously I just pretty much stopped eating meat just before this Swine Flu news broke but this is another reason to stop if not solely for the reason of not supporting US industrial farm animal processing. That's the cause of all these super resistant virus strains that build up because on these farms they pump the livestock up with all these antibiotics because the animals walk around in their own excrement.
I do think that the government and the media like to spread fear; so they can be the ones the public turns to for reassurance and information. 64 cases of flu out of a population of approximately 306,312,973 is a pandemic?
"How to Avoid the Flu - Swine Flu" * Eat right! Make sure you get your daily dose of fruits and veggies. Take your vitamins and bump up your vitamin C. Get plenty of exercise because exercise helps build your immune system. Walk for at least hour a day, go for a swim, take the stairs instead of the elevator, etc. Wash your hands often. If you can’t wash them, keep a bottle of antibacterial stuff around. Wear a mask when out in public places and avoid going out in public as much as possible while the swine flu is spreading. Get lots of fresh air. Open windows whenever possible. Get plenty of rest. Try to eliminate as much stress from your life as you can OR …. * You can take the doctor’s office approach. Think about it, when you go for a shot, what do they do first? Clean your arm with alcohol.. Why? Because alcohol kills germs. So…… I put on my mask, walk to the liquor store (exercise), I put lime in my Corona (fruit), celery in my Bloody Mary (veggies), drink on the bar patio (fresh air), get drunk, tell jokes, and laugh (eliminate stress) and then pass out (rest). The way I see it, if you keep your alcohol levels up flu germs can’t get you!!!! "
WTF!? That stupid mask isn't going to shield the body stings from the African Killer Bees; they have the ability to sting more than once, you know.
