I thought about this and then they make a take of the building and I kind of figured that it was so tall that maybe, it's tall enought to cover the smoke until it brakes apart. But it's really a little weak, Don't think it would cover the smoke in real life. Same here!
Yup it seemed like lazy writing on that part. I mean Spoiler How can you possibly get hit by the only moving car in the city that you know is headed in a certain direction. It was so inconsistent with the way Darryl and Carroll have been moving through the city that you can anticipate when trouble was about to happen i.e. their guns getting stolen and Carroll getting hit by the car.
Every time I think about one of characters doing something dumb I always think of Herschel in Season 2 when he hollers at them: "It's a wonder you people have survived this long?!" I mean if I was with this group I would have left a long time ago saying: "See you and good luck with that, oh hey there's a boat and I've gathered a bunch of supplies & fishing gear BYE BYE- Hello island!" Probably say something sarcastic to Rick to piss him off as well lol. Then again the whole reason we have dumb behavior is why we have a show. If they thought rationally and figured a way to minimize danger the show would be dull as paint drying on a wall.
Spoiler So yeah, a group of rogue cops that just tried to kill you. One starts playing the sympathy angle talking about his dead friend cop who is just a piece of bubblegum on a asphalt road now that you would never even recognize two years after he was napalmed. Please put him out of misery. Do you actually listen to this guy or do you have the sense to know it's a trap? Especially after all the shit you've been through with Termites and KNOWING these same people have two of your friends! Come on really?! and... Spoiler WTF? Do you want Rick to be your leader and make the hard decisions so you don't have to? Then stop questioning him always. Every time someone wants to take the 'high road' in this show after it's been proven to be a bad idea over an over, well I just I keep thinking of Shane from season 2. I just hear his voice saying "Here we go again folks, fantasyland!" and... Spoiler Really? Abraham it a nutjob. Are you also telling me you would not have taken this asshole out after beating a man unconscious and threatening everyone's safety 24-7 with his anger issues? He's a giant crazy misguided a-hole. In the ZA that would be a no brainer! and... Spoiler A doctor who just tricked you into killing another doctor via the wrong medication you administered, tells you to give your unconscious friend this drug. Do you actually listen to him this time or do you maybe try and look up the drug in some medical book that might be around to see if he's lying before possibly killing your friend? If your Beth I guess you just go "OK!"
That is the only thing I disagree with. Spoiler Mullet Man deserved every single punch in the face and more. He lied for who knows how long and got lots of people killed for no other reason then to keep himself surrounded by bodyguards who would die for him without hesitation. Imagine if his lie got your friends killed. Or actually lots of your friends killed like it did with Abraham. Even worse being the guy in charge of the "mission" and convincing people to fall for his bullshit story you'd feel like it was all your fault. I would not have blamed him one little tiny bit even if he bashed the guy's brains out into the street. As far as his anger issues he does yell a lot but the one big fight I recall between him and anyone else Glen hit him first anyway so even that wasn't his fault.
Yeah actually I can see that with Abraham being mad at Eugene. That had to suck. I think that was just an add on to my complaint list as he just seems angry 24-7. Then again not sure why I can't relate to that lol
I actually enjoyed the format of this weeks episode. That being said, I agree, how could Beth just trust that doctor especially since its Carol. And how does Tyrese's sister fall for the oldest trick in the book?!
Haha, exactly what i thought . . . a total A-Team / Dukes of Hazard moment. They would of either slammed into the ground bonnet (hood) first or landed upside down on their heads!
i've read up to the "all out war" arc and decided to start watching the show yesterday. finished the short first season and just started the second. so far it's a big fat "meh" for me
Pretty lucky that Daryl didn't get bit when he stuck his fingers inside a walker's mouth. Being that it was melted to the road and biting things that enter it's mouth is the only thing it can do.
Spoiler Double lame! Sleepy mid season finale with a wasted character death on someone no one really cared about- and great we get to see Morgan at the end but he magically picks up a map with Rick Grimes and Washington on it. So now we won't see him till end of this season or next season.
Spoiler I was expecting way more collateral damage with both groups armed... this may be the first time we saw Spoiler Darryl shoot something other an arrow, of course it's magically Spoiler a head shot with no exit wound & no one behind the cop gets hit. Under extreme duress, he would be lucky to Spoiler make that shot with a single bullet, & all of those people should have some significant hearing loss shooting guns indoors. The Walking Deaf =P
Spoiler I agree psilo110. No way little misguided and stupid Beth taking a headshot becomes just a eye for eye situation in that hallway. Guns would be a blazin' on both sides! I was expecting a massive shootout with people getting hit left and right and then having to wait till February to see who lived. Just zoom in on some blood and maybe show someone's crawling hand, a few moans, screen goes black. Now that's a midseason finale! Instead we got "Let's talk this out an cry" Pffftt
Why the hell would you want to stab someone with the world's tiniest scissors in the first place (and not even in the eye or something)..??
I was seriously hoping for that as well! Spoiler a crazy shootout where everyone is shooting reservoir dogs style. Would have been awesome with the last shot before episode ends of everyone laying on the floor haha
I hear: Spoiler Rumors of the midseason premiere (or the next episode) will sort of be take on the Wiltshire Estates fiasco from early in the comic. Right after the group left Atlanta when it became winter (for all you comic readers). If I recall at least one character bit it. So expect a death or two. What I'm not looking forward to is when they reach the Alexandria Safe Zone which will be really soon (rumored to be before the end of this season). Great we'll be parked for two seasons I'm sure.
