On top of the Oculus Beatnik, I was very, VERY generously gifted some really, really awesome Headlock Studio swag from a show in 2003 called "Plastic Particle." What I'm assuming are original, uncut sticker sheets from various Headlock artists; Washio Tomoyuki and Spanky, a trio of Spanky - Kun enamel pins and my personal favorite, a poster dawning the Adidas version of Ray the Aerosol. I'm pretty damn happy with having such offset items, but still related to the hobby, in my possession.
This pair of spiders did not arrive in the same package but they arrived a few days apart from one another, I could not be happier by the mail day.
Wow! I've seen a few of the blue/red/white marble around but they've always had large solid sections and heavy streaks. That blended one is very unique. Congratulations
Thank you very much, I am very happy with the two spiders, I like the marble black with white because in the lower part of the body is blacker, it gives the appearance of a tarantula.
Last week. Pachi King Ghidorah. Been chasing this dragon for awhile.
Nice!! I only have like 3 of those. One like you have. One pirate marbled skeleton and the translucent blue skull dude with the head band. Those toys are hard to obtain! Lol
Thank you sir! I was digging around for the Harajuku set for a while and unexpectedly got the chance to buy it along with the Scared of Sheep
I underestimated how much I'd like that grey one; in person the glitter is very heavy, pops hard. And it glows blue, too.
@chimply.kaiju Congrats on finding one with all of the horns.
Something about this figure makes me think that it was produced by the same company that made all of those unmarked standard size patchi-kaiju (e.g., red bat, orange triceratops, purple Godzilla-ish one). Most of these are attributed to Miura, but as far as I know, we've never confirmed the maker. What do you think?
@akum6n - Thanks Daniel. Unfortunately one of the horns was broken probably during in transit to me. It wasn't completely broken off. Glued it. You can see the crack in my picture. The horns are definitely very fragile. They are hard vinyl but feel brittle.
During all the years I have seen this figure listed, it has never been reference as being made by Miura. No markings at all on the feet. Miura figures are knock off homages, but this Ghidorah is too close to the Bullmark look. So who knows?
Ouch! Well, you did a clean gluing job; I wouldn't have noticed unless you told me.
Just curious, but are the bottoms of the feet smooth or ridged?
despite my shitty pictures he is surprisingly sparkly and vibrant in person. I've been after it for the sculpt, but man the paint work is just incredible.
Happy box day today. Elegab Kaiju Prince 3 set.
