Here's most of my collection (that fits on the shelves)... I took the doors off to take some photos but there's still a pesky bit of sloping ceiling in the way!
Ah, I've been waiting for this shot. Nicely done, Ian. Patchi kaiju making some grounds on the turf war.
Wow, awesome collection shot Ian! I really envy people who can capture their collection completely and properly in just one shot!
Thanks for all the comments and also for help from anyone who sold / traded / helped me out with any toys on the shelves Will hopefully be getting some new, larger shelving later this year and should be able to squeeze in the standing and crawling Hedos, Star Wars etc too!
That's just how it goes toy collecting right? The toys keep coming the space remains the same! Same boat with space.
If anyone here is ever worried about enough space, I have about 900 square feet in my basement, just waiting to be Utilized. I'll start a toy library, you can check out your toys at anytime... Your collection is beautiful, I love seeing toys on this level, you have a ton of heavy hitters, but you haven't forgotten about the little guys...
Such a nice setup, Ian. And I love that mid-sized M1 MG2 you have there, just minding his manners. That little guy haunts me.
Love the Matango shelves. Brimming with shroomy goodness. And the awesome Goga of course. Really nice collection and display.
all that has been said has been said.. absolutely beautiful! where did you get the cabinet? this is my kind of display!!
My faves are the Goga and Ichibanboshi Maza - such great detail and paint! gazpacho - the cabinets are Ikea Bonde but they stopped making them just after I bought them...
Love this set up, crisp and clean. For anyone interested, while they don't have doors, you can buy glass shelves for the Billy bookshelf from Ikea. The look very similar to smo9monster's set up Are the lights from Ikea as well, I would like some lights but always worry about them getting too hot and melting the vinyl.
What a joyful room to walk in to that must be! I'd picked up that you have a certain fixation on MechaGodzilla, but seeing them in full force is really something; best example of Strength in Numbers I've seen in a while!
T.J. - you can get aluminium framed glass doors for Billy bookcases. Someone here has a really nice set up, which I'm sure is Billy - black units, white shelves with glass shelves resting on top... The stuff on the shelves ain't bad either - sure it's stealthtank Yes, the lights are ikea too - they're LEDs, so don't get hot. I'd be worried about halogen or something. I bought more at a different time and they must have changed the spec - some are a warmer yellowy light and some more of a cooler blue! Happy Birthday to David Tooth!!!
