 Re: Resin Heads Unite....
Just a few of my personal favorite figures still available from the Resin Collective show. Bwana's new dino figure is killer but sold. Le Merde - Breaker Lee 1/1 Bwana Spoons - Mountain top 1/1 Spencer Hibert - Snot faced migi ( roto-cast hollow resin ) 1/1

Were they very brittle? spencer's figures are totally durable, not brittle at all. this figure is much thinner, more like an egg shell, and weighs only a few ounces, but still seems quite durable

 Re: Resin Heads Unite....
I stumbled upon guys rotocasting resin a while back on YouTube. Pretty cool shit, most of them use hand made machines. Here's one vid, there are quite a few more if you search. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KkNkQRC0czc&feature=PlayList&p=1F4329B5FB46DCFF&index=6

Spencer is a Hibert, and all them damn Hiberts (incl. Oliver, Arbito, and Snaggs) are ridiculously talented mother fuckers. I believe he had those guys available a couple years back.

 Re: Resin Heads Unite....
Spencer told me that he rotocasts by hand, and I think he said he has the process down to an hour now.

the le merde mini set has a mini burgerbuns, mini hoonan (robot dude with arms up) and a dice game called "big turd, little turd" - i was instructed to sell them as mixed colors - i've only seen green and pink figures so far...

 Re: Resin Heads Unite....
Jason,
When I came into the store for the first time, I asked if there was anything coming up. You mentioned a sale, but this is the news I was looking for. Can't wait. PUT ME DOWN!

 Re: Resin Heads Unite....
Thanks, man. The resin show was a HUGE highlight for the shop last year. I've been thinking of doing a follow-up this year since there are so many awesome new resins being made.. just have to get time to make it happen.

Well, if you ever need any help putting on a show, etc. Let me know. Will give me a chance to put those skills I acquired working all those years in Hollywood to good use. You heading to Soyal Opening? V
