Not happy w how my robocon boxes look... but...
Living room. 1 Yuni MIB Jumbo Mifi attack. Deka Deka Robocon and friends Robocon talker and chogokin More Robocon Gokin Respect for Robocon! Getta Robo series is the shiz - Poseidon/Liger/Dragun and on Poseidon stands in for Getta 3 w Getta2/Getta 1 and Getta Robo go center The "Office"... to which people say "More like toy room! WTF..." Tetsujin only please. Still need a GB-24.... :/ "Sir... You have a call..." Nakajima in the house... hopefully one day this whole shelf will be all Nakajima and tatsunoko characters. Some Astro Myus would surely help my cause! Tryder FO EVA! Whole case What up Diapolon? Doraemon represent! Mini chicken and mini moero robocon get down! Boss Borot & Takoro aint no fools... Hottoke Saucer = muteking awesomes Takoro is so underated. In both Chogokin and Vinyl or keshi gomu... he is THE octopus in go to situations. 1. If you can't get a SG-01 get a composensei. 2. Roboamaru is completely underrated... 3. Giant Gorg is the shit. oh, and 4. $10 says no one knows the name of the robot that doubles as a nurse station. Raideen getting no respect. Mira otoko, Amantan, Gan Chan, Bibyun Zushin, and Beeton. nuff said. In a lot of ways Takatoku and Bullmark blow Popy out of the water. Zenda Gorilla Chorob is SO SO SO dope. Just like Time Bokkan. Recent Pegas Grip with fam... Gan Chan came out blurry... will reshoot... 3 mib and 2 loose... not so bad. Extra shit. more extra shit. Getta 1 was claimed by Alen Yen... sorry. Random Nakajima laying on my work area... it was directly imported to America as Zincic. Imagine being an American child, seeing this and having no fucking idea how to get what quite possibly may have been the most bad ass robots you've ever-ever-ever seen... Spaceboat in the house. "ミて!" "すごい!" or "Look!" "Awesome!" Best thing about 1970's toys was "string" gimmicks. Spiderman had it and anything else that went along a string was therefore AWESOME! Matell Godzilla getting no respect... let's see what we can do about that later. Maybe putting this chair in front of him will help? Oh you saw my Girl's Rodys? Kure Kure Takora from Erik Sjoen! Robocon! Smoochy pics! eeewwww! Rody in the house! Mecha G Yeah Godzilla! Take that shit! A little Godzilla and friends love, Bullmark and Mattel style. Closet of shame

For the love of all that is holy, please do not quote diceone's whole post!!! More seriously, I'm assuming that's your girlfriend/wife - you're very lucky that you get to display everything out in the open like that

You HAD a robocon Jumbo? The Popy one? What happened? I'd NEVER part with it. In case of fire grab Robocon.

I dream about getting to see one of my illustrated designs be made tangible! And yes they are billy shelves. Really awesome IMO. I used the ikea billy extension and omitted the top of the standard billy case. Secured the two pieces with a little handy work and BAM. Very tall open shelf space. It's a shame ikea doesn't make a glass door that runs the WHOLE height of an extended Billy.

pollard_hunter wrote: doramon parman? edit: oops, dice posted right after i did. dice...your collection is amazing! i love how well it's organized and feels so clean and simple, but full of awesomness Doraemon is the little cat guy that's "The Gadget Cat from the future!" and Paman is my Avatar. technically his name is literally Pa-Man. With a extended "ah" sound. Which is a Japanese shortened version of Su Pa Man or superman. Which is why some people call him Perman. I think Bandai even released the VCD versions as Perman... not 100% on that. But it sounds right... Paman is one of the most bad ass and hilarious Manga ever. Fujiko A. Fujio is the creator of both Doraemon and Paman, along with Obake No Q-Taro and many many others. the 1975 or so Popy Doraemon is in my colection. And there is even a Victora Paman toy in the case w the Robomaru items. Paman is very very hard to acquire. I've been trying to display less pieces and rotate. So I gave myself some rules : 1. no more than 3-5 boxes out as background "hey i got cool boxes/packaging" showing off. And if you notice mine are almost all window boxes, in that get they toy out front. 2. only 2 rows, maybe 3... of characters, and not every character in a series. Give em space to breathe. Less is more. 3. Symmetry rules... most of the time. I got a tall in the center and balanced thing going FTMP. BUT right now I'm not feeling my robocon gokin in my living room as the boxes are not lined up well and it looks cluttery. AKA they get reorganized mañana!
