DCON?

Bigger, busier, and more packed this year. I also heard Saturday reached capacity and they stopped letting people in...

 

Saturday sold out but Weekend passes were available.

 

Gargamel had a bag that they were exchanging for Moai parts if you pulled doubles

 

Loved this, and it was the 1st to go.

I missed all that awesomeness at the gargamel booth. Damn I need to step my game up. Or you know not just go on Sunday damn you Disneyland.

 

My Dcon haul

Very happy with my acquisitions. Had a blast meeting artists and friends. Also checked out the Dehara show at GR2 and hit up Little Tokyo twice, which is always a good time. I just wish I knew more sofubi collectors, or what they look like at least so I could have introduced myself. From what I see on SB and Insta, I was in the midst of several but had no way of knowing. Any tips? Also, if anyone has any questions about the con I'd be happy to try and help.

 

That's a sweet haul! I wanted a teenage Randall should have grabbed one. Killer stuff all around.

 

Nice haul! Tips? Just start talking to anyone around you, we are all pretty chatty, i talk to people i dont know all the time. Just say "hi" and if u want ask if they are on SB... Boom! Youre in! I didnt know anyone at first and just started to talking to most of the guys randomly, now these events are like family reunions

 

It was great meeting some of you at DCON and putting faces to your names!

I just checked out Adam's and Nate n Maddie's pics of DCON - pretty awesome sets. I only made it for one full day - but there was stuff in the pics I never got to see while I was there. Nice one.

I was at this last D-Con but I hadn't really started posting on here yet. I met Jerry and Manny at the Konatsu show at Qpop last week so I'm looking forward to meeting more folks this year.

 

Super ready and super excited! We have a bunch of things lined up at our booth this year!
