Thank you will keep it in kind moving forward!
Took my first stab at photographing Surnia, but I don't think the conditions or my camera suited the toy well--in particular, autofocus doesn't seem to like capturing the head properly in low light. The relative roughness of the head is actually one of my favourite parts of the toy; in this colour especially, it feels like equal parts fur and hammered metal.
Next time I'll make it a daytime trip.
I'll be releasing the micro owl, named 'Suto', in unpainted grey w/ glitter.
Tomorrow at 11am EST in my webstore.
Truly gutted I missed out on it, had a lovely little storyboard set up for the pair of them. Sigh... my life.
I finally made a new Otus!
it looks amazing....every one is always my new favourite colourway .
My boiler broke at the weekend I’m just hoping I can sell some stuff in time to enter the lottery.
Might stick some in ‘for sale’ - guys help a girl out
Great colouration - really pleased to see you doing another variation
Looks great, gonna try my hand at getting one of these.
I was tickled to see how tiny the packaging was. Gotta be in the running for smallest header ever.
semi old group shot and need to update one of these days but hoping to add the current lotto guy to the roster
Why do you need so many duplicates ?
Picked em up in trades, in hope of trading for the older first releases I’ve missed out on since was a little late in finding out about the mold
Actually ended up trading one of those yellows for one of the galaxy painted ones you did
Dang! I’d love either one of those doubles...
If I ever complete the full painted set will post what ever doubles I have left on here so some one else can give em a good home
I am so excited about this clear pink Otus release! This will be my very first Otus! Hoot! Hoot! <3 <3
Looks so damn cool in the bag; I think I'll hang it and stare for a while
Such fun toys! (You'll have to click on the photo to see the other two photos in the slideshow.)
Translation: I'm going to hoard toys others want until I get what I want first.(Meant to be read in a Veruca Salt voice)
Have really only picked up doubles of the mold from people getting rid of them and haven’t actively tried to pick up doubles. Assume everyone who tries for the ones that just released going forward picked them up because they like the mold and not for resale so the chance of one just randomly coming up is kinda low I think. Figure that if they like the mold trading for an older paint would be more doable then me trying to offer money for a toy they one just got and two they got cause they like. Also not like I’m holding onto a rare toy and trying to over value the and get trades in my favor or putting them up on eBay for extreme resale ♀️ Have yet to win a lotto and have picked them all up secondary market
People are free to do with their money what they want, just as people here will be free to judge them on that; that's toy collecting for you. Buying up excess for the purpose of some future sale or trade is a well-known thing here, which doesn't need explaining or justification. You either come down on that side of the fence, or you don't. But no amount of circular arguments is going to change people's minds to the other side.
Congrats @Russblue11 and @Spaceman Yells on those micro owls. Just lovely, and those photos do the little guy wonderful justice.
