i thought Hershel said that they couldn't treat the disease but the symptoms and that it was the symptoms that made the disease deadly.
when does the discussion on season 4 start page wise? im just about to finish the 3rd season and dont want to spoil an already spoiled show
I'd say your at page 30, I just avoid this thread till i'm caught up ***( its not easy ) Just rewatched Isolated, 9min in before they send the group for supplies he tells them " the illness doesn't, the symptoms do. We need antibiotics" it was fuzzy enough for me to give them the benefit of the doubt, me thinking the antibiotics where for the symptoms. But then again the mistakes add to the humor for me. Like when all the attackers all walk by Rick "hiding" by the bus
Being in health care I paid CLOSE attention hahaha. Yeah, not just walking by him but being unable to fucking shoot him when he's like 15 feet from them? How'd they survive this long if they can't hit a target from that far, not even a head shot too, just a regular ass shot to the torso. They finally get his leg but way too late. Like "Shooting these people wasting ammo...and...OH YEAH THAT DUDE RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME DAMN!"
Its really irritating but usual for networks and Ip owners to run a show at a loss on paper ... I hope he gets his money
anyone still watch this show? i've enjoyed these last 2 episodes a bit more than most of the first half of the season to say the least.
^^ I've watched the first episode of the most recent ones . . . . i enjoyed it. Glad they are finally out of that prison. I like the way the group is all split-up and out in 'the wild'. I notice Michonne always uses a one-handed sword technique . . . surely after that many decapitations she'd need to use two-hands occasionally! Must get very tiring swiping that many heads off with one hand.
plus I'm not sure I believe him about him being a nobody... I'm thinking he was in jail but don't understand why it would matter. Looking forward to what they do with that crazy little girl, I was squirming when she almost suffocated the baby.
Weird . . . i really liked ep.12 for exactly that reason. I thought it was slow in a good way. When they had to hide in the boot (trunk) of that car at the start of the episode, i thought that was the best start to a TV show i've seen in ages. Nice and tense, just like the previous episode when Rick has to hide under the bed.
I like that they're bringing in some weather elements lately. For instance not every event takes place on a hot sunny day. Night, thunderstorm, now fog this week. Still can't wait for half the cast to die though.
Spoiler Wow, you weren't too far off at all... No surprise the baby is still alive and that the group conveniently has a bag full of diapers and pre-mixed bottles of baby formula for her It just seems too contrived that Tyreese gets thrown together with the 2 girls (the one I assume was mutilating the rats in the prison) and that Carol naturally joins up with this group. The "Carl and his pudding" episode and this last one were kind of a drag. The focus on back stories is appreciated, but the pace of the storyline pays the price in these character-dedicated episodes.
...i must admit to digging the slow episodes... BUT. Most of the slow episodes have a major major problem: they often include a scene or 2 with a music track over the action. ...like the song as the shack was burning. Pushes the show too much into hard melodrama whenever it does that and i find myself recoiling.
i like the direction these last few episodes have been going. Seems like there's a divide between those who like slower, character driven episodes and the fast pace brainless action/killing. I personally don't mind a bit of both though I appreciate the show trying to deepen their characters.
Corrected (thanks for making me wonder why my DVR wasn't recording earlier) Do you even follow TWD Bro?!? I AM ENTITLED to the perfect mix of character development and zombie action! Seriously, ive only been watching for 3.5 SEASONS.
Last night's episode was one of my favorites of the season. Great mix of character development, forward momentum within the story, and zombie killing.
