@MonstaIslandCzar My apologies for the super belated response, Ben! I actually just used a sticky tack(or “mounting putty”) underneath the hat. Keeps it in place and leaves no residue on either the hat or the head! However, your magnet idea is pretty genius.
Headlock Studios returned to Five Points Fest this past June 1st and 2nd, this time teaming up with artist Johnny Akihito of Weird Creations, to bring us Bruno. Sculpted by Knuckle, Bruno features four points(three for the single footed version) of articulation: the brain, head/waist, and each foot. I admittedly hadn’t heard of, or obviously seen Akihito’s art until Headlock produced this toy, which is something I’ve enjoyed about Ken’s production role. Lots of great artists getting put on and awesome toys being made from their work. And I certainly do dig on both Akihito’s art and new toy! I thoroughly enjoy the duality of vinyl on this figure, with the “body” being opaque, and the brains clear. As with most of Knuckle’s sculpts, there’s the “signature” toe pop you’ll find as his homage/love for Rat Fink. Just a great overall expression on the face as well, with the crazy/veiny eyes, goofy grin and missing tooth with spittle. Color combinations have been very pleasing to the eye. This is another one I can see myself owning many versions of. Spoiler Spoiler
There were also the mini Lil’ Franky! Lil’er Franky, is you will. Ken had two painted versions, and two blank. The black was a gracious gift. These stand about 4” tall, and feature all of the same articulation and immaculate paint apps as their full sized predecessors.

Ken - San has been BUSY. Holy shit, these are all super bad ass, and I can’t wait for their debuts, hopefully all to release by the time DCon rolls around. I’ve got my eye on the devil in the suit and top hat especially! But that fez on the split face three eye is lookin’ pretty snazzy!
Honestly I am not a huge Headlock fan (just not my style) but I think I am gonna have to get that little devil dude!
I wasn't any kind of Headlock fan right up until seeing that photo really tight designs, lots of paint potential. If they roll out mini versions, as they did with Franky, I better clear some shelf space.
@kid_miracleman @zindabad He’s pullin’ people in! Knuckle’s designs have consistently been uber clean since the mid 2000’s, admittedly way before I ever got into Headlock. But Ken and Knuckle workin’ together in concert for these releases have been slam dunks, all the way!
Newest Lil’ Franky lotto! Lovin’ the color combinations between navy/sky blue and yellow! Each version never ceases to amaze me with palettes I wouldn’t otherwise have envisioned. The mint/“chocolate” colored header is also really nice to look at! Spoiler Also, HUGE news out of Ken - San today: the original Sick Boy Billy gettin’ that new - new vinyl treatment!!!
I can honestly say I don't think I'll ever tire of having multiple versions of this toy, and the brethren that have been birthed since! Hoping for some pretty cool shit at DCon this year. Really likin' this flesh skin base! Puts a whole new "teenage Franky" vibe to it with the pink sweater, almost like an outcast monster from Grease. The subtle yellow sprays underneath the protruding brow was a nice, new touch! Spoiler
Ken - San and Knuckle are men on a mission. Sad this is a TTF exclusive, but I’m sure we’ll still see some crazy goodness at DCon! Maybe the other two sculpts he hasn’t full frontally revealed just yet!
I can see a ton of great colorways. Maybe none as classic. I hope they release a few versions of the red devil and change suit colors. A white suit would be amazing. I could also see a neon pink devil being really great.
@animator Oh, man. Good call on the white suit. I hadn’t even thought of that! There’s consistently been an interesting slew of color combinations, though. So I’m confident in Ken’s ability to capture the “something for everyone” vibe he’s been hitting with his general character releases.
I got one of this by paying double of original price but i have to say i love it so much and can't control myself
